Dr Nour Mohamed Badr is a Conservator at the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo and a specialist in the conservation of wooden coffins and mummy masks. He has more than 12 years experience investigating ancient Egyptian techniques and materials using different analytical methods. Nour has been a member of the Fitzwilliam Egyptian coffins project since 2016 and has played a pivotal role in facilitating our work in Egypt, especially with colleagues at the Egyptian Museum Cairo.
