Flavia is Objects Conservator, Research Associate at the Fitzwilliam Museum. She has worked extensively on Egyptian funerary artefacts at the Museum, as well as at the archaeological site of Tell el-Amarna, Egypt. As part of the Egyptian Coffins Project, she carries out conservation treatments, technical investigation and pigment analysis on painted wooden coffins and cartonnage cases. Prior to joining the Museum in 2017, Flavia worked as a researcher in conservation at University College London (UCL), and as an archaeological conservator in Italy and Turkey.
