Brief description:
Face of a coffin, carved from sycomore fig, with sidr and sycomore fig dowels. The flower on the forehead suggests that this may be from a woman’s coffin, although this feature is also found on men’s coffins. The chin and nose were heavily restored sometime in the early twentieth century.
